LOCATION
The coastal town of Roquetas de Mar is situated 18km west of Almeria, on the Costa Tropical. The area is well known for its fantastic weather, with a minimum of rainfall and year long sunshine. Located in the area known as Buena Vista, ¡Espanglish! Academia de Idiomas is ideally situated for easy access to Roquetas de Mar town, the Port and the Urbanisation.
There are several cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance of the school and we are only two minutes away from the Paseo Maritimo and the wide sandy beach known as Playa de Labajadillo.
THE SCHOOL
Our language school is new, modern and fully air-conditioned, providing both Spanish and English courses at all levels and for all ages. We offer small group teaching, normally 4 – 6 students in a class, with a maximum of 8. By limiting the class size, we are able to maximise student participation in lessons, give individual attention and thus improve your foreign language learning.
Our staff are all native speakers of the language they are teaching, and are committed, friendly and approachable. We are a small school with a vested interest in your progress and we will do everything that we can to support you in your studies.
LESSON STRUCTURE
All of our courses will include work on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Whether you are studying English or Spanish, the main objective must be to be able to communicate in that language.
Often, students are very willing to study grammatical structures and vocabulary lists, but are shy or lacking in confidence when it comes to speaking. At ¡Espanglish! Academia de Idiomas there will always be an emphasis on helping students to become confident in the use of spoken language.
THE DIRECTOR
The Director of ¡Espanglish! Academia de Idiomas, has been working in education for almost twenty years, as a primary school teacher, as a teacher of English as a foreign language to both adults and children, and as a senior manager and consultant.
Her own experience of trying to learn Spanish, both here and in the UK, has given her an added insight into some of the issues, which can be faced by students. She believes that in order for students to progress effectively, they must be happy in their learning environment, and gain confidence through a sense of achievement.

LOCALIZACIÓN
La ciudad costera de Roquetas de Mar está situada a 18km al oeste de Almería, en la Costa Tropical. Toda la zona debe su fama a su fantástica temperatura, pocas lluvias y mucho sol durante todo el año.
Ubicada en la conocida zona de Buena Vista, ¡Espanglish! Academia de Idiomas ofrece fácil acceso entre la ciudad de Roquetas de Mar, el Puerto y la Urbanización, así como una variedad de cafés, bares y restaurantes a un paseo de distancia de la escuela y tan sólo a dos minutos andando del Paseo Marítimo y de la ancha playa de Labajadillo.
LA ESCUELA
Nuestra escuela de idiomas es nueva, moderna y está equipada con aire acondicionado. Ofrecemos cursos de Español e Inglés, de todos los niveles y para todas las edades. Los cursos se componen de un reducido grupo de estudiantes, normalmente entre 4 a 6 alumnos, con un máximo de 8. Limitando el tamaño de las clases pretendemos maximizar la participación en la clase y dar atención más individualizada a los estudiantes con el fin de mejorar el aprendizaje del idioma.
Todos nuestros profesores son nativos del idioma que enseñan, comprometidos con su trabajo, amistosos y accesibles para el alumno.Somos una pequeña escuela con un gran interés en su aprendizaje y haremos todo lo que esté en nuestras manos para apoyarle en sus estudios.
ESTRUCTURAS DE LAS CLASES
Todos nuestros cursos incluirán trabajo en gramática, vocabulario, pronunciación y habilidades en entender, hablar, leer y escribir. Tanto si estás estudiando Ingés como Español, el objetivo principal será conseguir comunicarte en ese idioma.
A menudo, los estudiantes están muy dispuestos a estudiar estructura gramatical y largas listas de vocabulario pero se sienten tímidos o con falta de confianza en sí mismos a la hora de hablar. En ¡Espanglish! Academia de Idiomas siempre habrá un énfasis en ayudar a los estudiantes a ganar esa confianza en el uso del idioma hablado.
LA DIRECTORA
La Directora de ¡Espanglish! Academia de Idiomas, ha trabajado en educación por casi veinte años, como profesora de primaria, profesora de Inglés tanto para niños como para adultos, y como gerente y asesora.
Su propia experiencia intentando aprender español, aquí y en Inglaterra, le ha proporcionado una percepción añadida sobre varios temas que pueden ser afrontados por los estudiantes. Ella cree que para que los alumnos progresen positivamente deben sentirse felices en su ambiente de estudio y así, ganar confianza a través de sus logros.
